MARINE

IMH has extensive experience across the marine, offshore and subsea industries internationally, including ROVs, bulk carriers, ferries, commercial and jack-up vessels. IMH provides consistent high-level support to major clients such as Cargotec/MacGregor, MPI Offshore, Allseas, DeepOcean and Osbit.

With vast experience including the Pieter Shelte, the worlds largest pipelay vessel, to the design and manufacture of an innovative Linkspan Restraint System, to the regular design, manufacture and commission of bilge and ballast remote control systems. Projects include self-discharge and ro-ro systems, sonar arrays and annual drydockings, and the design, manufacture and commission of Shell’s deep water capping stack winch system.

OIL & GAS

Providing uncompromising reliability and cost effective solutions for a range of major projects in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea. Oil & Gas engineering experience includes turbine starter packages, ESDs, jack-up cranes, and launch and recovery systems. IMH commissioned the Ekofisk Jack-up, a deck elevation project for oil field subsidence that was one of the most difficult and demanding sea rescue operations attempted at the time.

Through high-level performance and custom-engineered solutions, we can facilitate all hydraulic project development needs. Significant clients include Chevron, Shell, Mobil, Wood Group, Sparrows, Phillips, Micron Eagle, and Subsea 7.

POWER GENERATION

Involvement with high-level activities across nuclear and coal power stations, hydroelectric and offshore wind. IMH offers consistently high levels of support to deliver complex project requirements. We have built up a portfolio of significant clients, working on major power generation sites across the world for Siemens, British Energy, EDF Energy, GDF Suez, Bosch Rexroth, Parker and MPI Offshore.

Experience ranges from modifications to turbine controls and steam valve actuators in nuclear power stations, automated coal handling plants in coal power stations, to complete service support and commissioning for offshore wind jack-up vessels.

We have had consistent involvement in the design and commissioning of high speed rolling mills, press and manipulator forging complexes, flood defence systems, tunnelling projects, dock gates and steel mill design across the world.
